BOULDER FARMERS MARKET, BOULDER COLORADO
The Boulder Farmers Market was a semester-long project to re-design the current Farmer’s Market in Boulder, Colorado. The first month was spent doing intensive precedent research on the Farmers Market in Boulder, as well famous markets from around the world. In addition, each student designed a stand for the Farmer’s Market based on this research, not to be placed within the structure, but for the outside market. The Boulder Farmers Market vending area was designed with a grid pattern, 1-11 from left to right and A-D from top to bottom to allow efficient organization on busy market days. There is also public seating and restrooms provided, as well as an office and conference room for the Market staff.
DESIGN STUDIO COMPLETED AS A PART OF THE BACHELORS OF ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN WITH AN EMPHASIS IN ARCHITECTURE DEGREE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO IN BOULDER.
